ConvoComet does not use any cookies or store any data other than data sent as comments for unauthenticated users. For signed in users, we only store the bare minimum necessary to provide core functionality.

We comply GDPR, CCPA, PECR and other privacy regulations on our website and on our widget. We take privacy seriously and avoid all uneccessary collection of your data

Unauthenticated Users

As an unauthenticated user on convocomet.dev ("ConvoComet website", "website") or the ConvoComent commenting widget ("widget"):

All data stored and processed is used in the interest of providing a fast, privacy friendly commenting widget for website owners, and all features within that, including email notifications, session verification, and spam protection.

Retention of Data

We will retain your information as long as your account is active, as necessary to provide you with the services or as otherwise set forth in this policy. We will also retain and use this information as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy and to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and protect ConvoComet’s legal rights. You can choose to delete your ConvoComet account at any time by emailing contact@convocomet.dev. All your data will be permanently deleted immediately when you delete your account.

Changes and questions

We may update this policy as needed to comply with relevant regulations and reflect any new practices. Whenever we make a significant change to our policies, we will also announce them on our company blog or social media profiles.
